Linda Baines, Broker

The cheerleader of the community, Linda Baines left the banking industry for a more flexible lifestyle when her grandson was born. A kid at heart, she loves just having fun with, and being a role model for, Tyler. She also has two daughters and husband, Bob.

Linda is a "home grown" product. She earned her real estate license in 2002, immediately using her past knowledge and connections in the banking business to earn the title of Butler County Rookie of the Year her first year in the real estate business. She went on to earn:

         •  Butler County Distinguished Service Realtor
         •  Butler County Master's circle

Early in her life, Linda discovered the satisfaction and mission for community service, and has played a major role in leadership since the mid 80's. She was a leader in the development of the forerunner of the El Dorado Main Street program, a downtown development organization, has continued leadership there, served on the Prairie Port committee, led the Holiday Visions group, serves as an Ambassador for the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce, helped develop the El Dorado Car show, works with the Governor's One Shot Turkey Hunt, and Frontier Western Celebration and is a recent volunteer for Numana, a local organization that packages millions of meals to feed the hungry of the world.

She was awarded the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award and Project of the Year for her leadership in bringing two displaced Hurricane Katrina families to El Dorado, providing them with homes, food and supplies.

She's not running for office--she just loves helping others, building value in the community through giving her time and leadership skills. Her goal for her clients is to find the right house or property by being supportive, listening to their needs, and helping them with financing, re-locating and education for first time buyers and others---No high pressure—just her always ready smile and excitement in making those transactions smooth and rewarding.
